Key Officers E. Michael McCarthy, PE - President earned a bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1978 and founded the firm in 1985. Mike manages all aspects of the firm, prepares schematic project designs, conducts final project reviews, acts as a forensic investigator, hurricane investigator, and has been qualified as an expert witness in legal proceedings. Mike holds professional engineering licenses in Florida, Georgia, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maine, South Carolina and Virginia. He is also a Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings with the State of Florida, is a member of the National Council of Engineering Examiners, and is a licensed instrument rated pilot. Mike has recently been appointed to serve a second term on the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board. |  |
Robert Selinsky, PE - Vice President earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1989 and a Masters of Science degree with Honors from the University of South Florida in 1997. After college and before McCarthy and Associates, Bob worked in the Nuclear Engineering Department at General Dynamics in Groton, Connecticut and then for other consulting firms in the Tampa Bay area. Bob joined the firm in 1995 and currently manages the Delray Beach office. He is a project manager responsible for local client interaction, project analysis and design, and construction administration. He also conducts site visits for projects under construction. Bob is a Professional Engineer and a Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings with the State of Florida. |  |
